Culls Cottage is a Multi Award Winning, Five star, Gold property with Eco credentials set in the centre of the rural gorgeous village of Southrop in Gloucestershire and within the AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).

It has won awards in the Self Catering Holiday Cottage of the Year awards at The South West Awards, as well as winning awards withits sister cottage The Chestnuts for its Ethical, Sustainable and Responsible efforts.

Culls Cottage dates from 1670 and is a Grade 11 listed heritage property sleeping up to 6 guests.

With two lounges, a large kitchen and dining room. Three double bedrooms, one of which is downstairs and ensuite. There is an additional family bathroom upstairs.

Sink into the comfy sofas of the main lounge with its inglenook fireplace or snuggle up with a book in the snug.

This room can also become a fourth private downstairs bedroom for one should you need a little more space, just ask for details.

“We really enjoyed the weekend and didn’t want to go back to London. It was our first trip to The Cotswolds and we really want to come back. There are so many places to visit. We have stayed in a lot of holiday cottages in the UK but Culls has everything.“

A chilled week away

An eye for detail

Absolutely lovely cottage, we liked the eye for detail that has been evident in all the ‘little touches’ in the cottage. Really comfortable beds. We did a lovely walk from Lechlade along the Thames and visited the Westonbirt Arboretum.

Really sensational cottage to spend Christmas

We loved the stylish Christmas decorations, winter walks and enjoyed a few of the fantastic nearby pubs.

Lovely place to spend New Year

Memorable points – the blazing log burner, sharp global knives, we needn’t have brought one of ours (an all time first), very comfortable beds, kids slept in everyday.
